SW Designs: Who am I as a designer?

Hello my name is Sharlene Williams.

I am a fashion designer with a lifelong passion for creating unique clothing. Ever since I was 15, I've poured my creativity into my designs that is now labeled as SW Designs. My journey began with transforming old jeans and repurposing fabrics for my toy outfits. This sparked a love for creating my own clothing collections. Encouraged by my mother, I pursued my dream and cultivated a safe and diverse space for fashion.

I remember playing dress-up in my grandmother's closet, wearing her pearls and shoes. As I grew up, I pursued this further by studying fashion design at Orlando Tech. I learned everything from hand-sewing to using industrial machines.

I would say my style is a blend of chic, girly, and glamour. My goal is to empower women by offering unique and diverse fashion options. In my blogs, expect fashion tips and insights into the world of a beginner fashion designer. While my blog covers the detailed steps, my YouTube channel offers a visual journey through tutorials. I believe in celebrating individuality and encouraging everyone to fully embrace their true selves. I plan to do this by inspiring women through my designs and vision.
